ATM Card Skimmer Scam

ATM Card Skimming is a method used by criminals to capture data from the magnetic stripe on the back of an ATM or Debit card. The devices used are smaller than a deck of cards and are often placed in close proximity to or directly on the top of an ATM’s factory-installed card reader. When using any ATM always check to see if anything look suspicious on the card reader slot and elsewhere on the console.
